One After Another

In this month of Syaaban ; as we are all preparing to welcome Ramadan,
we have been hit by bitter and sad news one after another.

 1. Sabah Quake

Scrolling up and down in Facebook only to see more news on the Sabah Quake. Though the heart aches to read about this devastating news, but I couldn't help feeling curious and wanting to know what is happening and whether they have manage to account all the people that climb the mountain.

It is upsetting to learn that the young lives and teachers couldn't make it back. It is more heart-wrenching to know that the last 2 person who was missing was found in bits and pieces condition.
But the least, we can be glad that there is a closure that every missing person has been found.

There are several discussion and debates about the Quake happen due to the foreigners act of not respecting the Mountains. All i believe in is, It is the Creator's Calling.
Whenever, wherever, if it is time to go, we will go.
All is in his will.
The only thing we can pray and hope is that we will go in a calm state.

2. Fire at Parry Avenue

3. The passing of Ashmi Roslan

The news came as a real shock to everyone who knows Ashmi.

I was browsing through Facebook close to midnight when I read DJ Dzar Ismail entry on his passing.
Shocked and still not able to believe. It took me a while to actually fall asleep.
My mind automatically goes to Syirah. How is she and how is she coping?
It won't be easy but I hope she stay strong.

Death will come to us at any age. Young or old.
When we will pass away, nobody knows.
How we will pass away, nobody knows.

Only Allah knows
Are we prepared?

5 more days to the month of Ramadan.

May this Ramadan be a month of blessings, a month full of forgiveness & guidance.
May we be granted good health for us to perform our fasting.

Happy Ramadan!!
